Online discount

Dilemma #1: Varying my workouts.

Dilemma #2: Varying my workouts without costing me my whole paycheck.

Solution: Online discounts!!

How have I never bought one of these deals until now?

I think someone upstairs heard my plea! After my week of free hot yoga, I was so ready to purchase some classes until [dun dun dun] I saw the price! Now, I find myself in the middle of the two extremes.

Drop in ———- me ——— Unlimited

Okay, so I know that they have the 5 class passes, and 10 class passes, but let’s be honest. They are sometimes close to the unlimited fees, but have a longer expiration date. Also, they are usually pretty close to 5 x the amount of a drop-in fee [*most places*]. End rant.

I want to try out new classes, but I cannot afford them as is.

What I am about to say is exciting for me:

An unlimited month of hot yoga at core power yoga is $159. With spending $60 over the span of two months, I received TWO unlimited weeks of yoga, 10 Bikram Yoga classes, and 5 Square one yoga classes.  I cannot wait to use these once things calm down and the school year is coming to an end! I will be sure to write back with reviews on how they went.

I am a big fan of Active.com’s Schwaggle with great discounts of races, products, and classes.

Obviously, Group-on ,  Living Social , and Trubates! These occasionally will have yoga, pilates, bootcamps, and kickboxing classes for discounted rates too!

Any others that I am missing that you like??

    Hi Kerry,
I work (volunteer) at the Dailey Method on Piedmont Ave (top of Piedmont) one shift a week and can take free classes there anytime (at the Piedmont or Berkeley-next to Lululemon- studio). The shifts vary in time from 2 hours to 4 hours depending on the time of day. The workout is kick-ass-hard but really good. It combines strength training, barre work, pilates and a little yoga-intense workout for 1 hour. I try to do it 3 times a week, but could do it at either studio as often as I wanted. They have shifts to either work the registration desk or do childcare. You should take a class and see if you’re interested. I couldn’t afford to do it if I had to pay for classes-they’re quite expensive. If you’re interested let me know and I’ll tell you who to contact there. Take care-Ellen
